She’s worked largely in clinic and homecare settings. In recent years, her focus has been training and optimizing healthcare workers’ use of the computer system. I’ve been volunteering at RHK for about 10 months now, and I truly love what I do. I typically come in during the day and work with April, RHK’s Storeroom Coordinator. What I enjoy most is that every day is different. I never quite know what I’ll be doing, and that keeps it exciting.

Meet the McNeil family. Jaci, Jim and Jeb teach a music class for our kids on Wednesday evenings and six-year-old Viv joins the rest of the kids in our evening program. Recently, Jim and Jeb have also volunteered to drive one of our vans to pick-up and drop off kids.

“Mr. Rich” served in our evening program for more than 10 years. In 2014, he and his wife, Janel heard about the need for volunteers at RHK to come and share Christ’s love with our kids and they decided to do just that together.

One of my favorite memories was when the kids came to my church for a Christmas Party. At the end of the night, we had a dance party. I had the best time dancing with one of the kids. Meet Marsha Rodriguez. Marsha serves as a volunteer mentor with our third and fourth grade girls during our Monday evening program. Family is very important to Marsha. A single mom, her son is now in his last year of college at UW Milwaukee. Her large extended family living nearby, were a huge source of encouragement and support as Marsha worked hard to become a registered nurse. She now works as an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner at UWHealth Swedish American. In her fr
