Meet Miss Tiny! She serves Monday and Wednesday evenings, pretty much wherever she is needed. On Mondays, she can usually be found with our little Pebbles (1st & 2nd graders) and most recently, she has been leading the Memory Verse station for our 3rd – 5th graders on Wednesdays. Tiny grew up in Chicago. She has three grown children and one “Glambaby” – her son’s beautiful eight-year-old daughter. She worked as a Switch woman with the Chicago Transit Authority for 24 years. RHK Volunteer Spotlight - Meet Rose Maurer
I’ve been volunteering at RHK for about 10 months now, and I truly love what I do. I typically come in during the day and work with April, RHK’s Storeroom Coordinator. What I enjoy most is that every day is different. I never quite know what I’ll be doing, and that keeps it exciting.

RHK Volunteer Spotlight - Steve Williams
One of my favorite memories was when the kids came to my church for a Christmas Party. At the end of the night, we had a dance party. I had the best time dancing with one of the kids. It was so much fun and sealed the deal for me to volunteer at RHK. Another favorite memory was seeing some of the kids get baptized. Watching their faces light up with excitement was priceless. The kids keep me coming back. I enjoy the relationships I have made with them and learn a lot from the

RHK Volunteer Spotlight - Ben Gottman
Serving the kids keeps me yearning to return every week. This is my way of serving Christ - by being there for all of them. Mostly, I feel called to be there to do my best to help lead them in the ways of the Lord. These kids have a special place in my heart. The world works against them non-stop. I just want to be someone they can look to that is there for them.
