RHK Back to School Health Fair 2025

Thank you to everyone who came together to offer their services at our RHK Back to School Health Fair last Friday.

Our first event in 2024 saw more than 200 students attend, and that was before we were forced to end halfway through due to rain! This year, we anticipated having as many as 400 people come. Guess what? We saw more than 550 students and parents attend the event! School-age kids and teens who needed them received school physicals, eye exams, backpacks with school supplies, and much more. All thanks to the 25+ different organizations and churches that came together to make sure families in the communities had what they needed to help their kids start the new school year. The best part? Everything was provided at no cost to the families.

RHK Executive Director, Dee Lacny said, “We’re in awe of the number of people who came out Friday, as well as the various groups who made their resources available for the kids. RHK is here to stand in the gap for youth in our community who need it. Together we were able to make a real difference for so many different families, and that’s what this event is all about.”
