Big Adventures, Brave Hearts
On October 16-18, our 4th and 5th graders enjoyed a weekend at Rock River Christian Camp. For pretty much the whole group, it was their first time camping, so there was a good mix of excitement and nerves as they started out.
The theme for the trip was “Fearless” based on 2 Timothy 1:7. The weekend offered many opportunities to overcome their fears as they tried new experiences like a night hike, the zipline, and an obstacle course 30-feet off the ground. The kids were encouraged to pray and ask God to help when they were afraid. The joy on their faces as they overcame their fears was priceless!
