$25,000 Grant Funds RHK Classroom Remodel

Last month, Rock House Kids joyfully accepted a check for a $25,000 grant from the Derry Family Foundation.

With these funds, RHK was able to enlarge several small classrooms. The remodel involved removing divider walls between the rooms and installing movable partitions in their place, effectively doubling the usable space.

Our program has changed over the years since these classrooms were originally built. We have more kids and the rooms were simply too small to accommodate our needs. Because of the generosity of the Derry Family Foundation, we now have larger rooms that allow us more flexibility and room as we continue to grow. We are excited to see the difference these changes will have in years to come and we are so grateful to the Derry Family for making it possible.
