Works of Art at RHK

Wednesday evenings, if you walk down our classroom hallway during free time, you will find 5-6 kids in the second room on the left working on art projects with Miss Kathy. Every week, she chooses different group of kids, until everyone who wants to has a chance to make that project. Then it starts all over when she changes to a new project. It might be creating with different painting techniques, making Shrinky Dinks, or mixing their own slime (the current project). It’s always exciting to find out what they get to make next. The kids love these classes so much, Miss Megan is now leading a similar class on Mondays, where they are currently learning how to decorate journal covers.
