RHK Teen Winter Camp Praises

The last weekend of February our teens attended winter camp at Camp Timberlee in East Troy, WI. As always, it was a whirlwind of activity - karaoke, sledding, field hockey, an escape room, 9-Square and so much more. They had a lot of fun doing all of them.

What stood out the most for the group though, was how they saw God at work. They were challenged by their chapel speaker to "take of their masks" - remove the guard they put up to keep people from seeing them for who they are and just be real with each other. Over the three days they were there, kids found themselves opening up and sharing in the small group time, talking about things they would not have shared before. They began looking out for one another and new friendships were formed.

Will you pray for them as they continue to process what they learned at camp and apply it in their lives? God is working.
