RHK and the Band, Styx

You never know what a day will hold.

Last week, RHK was given a very unexpected, very cool opportunity to get out in the community and introduce more people to Rock House Kids.

We were contacted by the classic rock band, Styx . They said they like to show their support for a local non-profit in the different locations where they perform. They were performing a concert at the @thebmocenter last Friday and invited us to come and help.

Our staff members were able to have a table in the lobby where they gave out information about RHK and answered questions about the different ways people could get involved. Plus, our team sold Styx CDs and picks. For each $20 spent, they received a raffle ticket for a signed guitar that was raffled off at the end of the night and RHK received a portion of the money received as well.
