The last month of summer was packed with special event nights, field trips, and guest speakers.
The event nights featured lots of fun water games and a memorable night when eleven of our kids publicly declared their faith in Jesus by being baptized. Field trips included going swimming, a fun night at Life Church (complete with bounce houses), National Night Out, Food Truck Tuesday, Sapora Playworld, a visit to Nicholas Conservatory, learning to ski with the Rockford Ski Broncs, and one last trip to Lockwood Park to end the summer.
Burch Dental spoke to the kids and teens about the importance of good dental hygiene. Members of our Rockford Police Department and S.W.A.T. team came and shared with the grade school kids, and Laura, from the Positive Choices program, came back to share with our teens.
