Throwback Thursday: Classroom Hallway Construction 2007

Rock House Kids is celebrating 25 years of ministry to Rockford's inner-city kids in 2024!

Volunteers make all the difference at RHK!

Back in 2007 a team of volunteers from Northeast Christian church converted a dingy warehouse section of our building into a hallway with multiple classrooms for our kids. Those same classrooms continue to be used today for small groups, stations for the evening program, the praise dance and puppet teams, music lessons, meetings, and so much more.

Those volunteers who worked so hard on this construction all those years ago truly gave a gift that keeps on giving. What a blessing!
