Celebrating Our Team of RHK Volunteers

On May 2, it was our great privilege to honor our incredible, faithful, committed, brilliant, beautiful (add your adjective here!) volunteer team with a special dinner to show our appreciation for all they do for our kids. 

Every day during the week, daytime volunteers come to help with various projects around our building and prepping items needed for our evening program. The hours they put in to keep us in good condition to serve our kids cannot be appreciated enough.

We also have our faithful ladies who assist in our office or come every month to prepare our newsletter mailing to go out. They are proof that “many hands make light work” and  we couldn’t be more grateful for them.

During our Solid Ground evening program, our kitchen helpers work hard serving our kids a hot meal and making sure everything is put away and cleaned up afterwards. Their service is so important in providing our kids with the nourishment they need.

Our Solid Ground mentors, van drivers and station leaders are front and center every week loving our kids and pointing them to Christ. The relationships they build with the kids will still be making a difference in their lives years from now.

Yes, our volunteers are the best and we are blessed!
