Warm Blankets Bring Smiles at RHK

Is there anything better than a warm, cozy blanket on a cold winter day?

Every month during the winter, our kids and teens get to pick out a new blanket to take home with them. It's fun watching them try to decide which one they like most. Is it the fleece? Maybe the handmade knitted one? Oh, what about a quilt?

They would have these options if it weren't for the many people in our community who generously gave them. Many are purchased with care, others are lovingly stitched in anticipation of providing comfort and warmth when it was completed. The kids love them all.

We appreciate each one, knowing how important these blankets are for so many of our kids. Good heat and a warm bed are not always a given for some of our kids and you are helping to meet an essential need for them. Thank you!
