My Story
Mike (or Michael, for simplicity, since RHK already has a Mike on staff) has been a resident of Rockford since 1988, and the husband of Dee Lacny since 1989. They have three grown children who all live in the area. After 37 years of working for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association as a Senior Sales Consultant, Michael took an early retirement. He then worked for the Greater Rockford area Chamber of Commerce as their Director of Sales and Services. He was responsible for membership, sponsorships, advertising revenue, and creating events for the manufacturing Community. Michael has also volunteered at RHK for the past 12 years - mentoring 5th and 6th grade kids, and high school boys. An avid van driver for the kids and a camp leader, he enjoys serving wherever God reveals a need.
When Michael is not at Rock House, he enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, detailing vehicles, and riding motorcycles.
Michael became a Christian during his college years and has been active in different ministries including kids, music, elder board, and facilitating a Men’s Fraternity program with his local church. Michael is looking forward to where God is leading the RHK team and being a part of where God is working.
