My Story
Kayla was born and raised in Rockford, IL, where she attended Auburn High School and is an A-Knight for life. Kayla grew up very active and busy in school. She participated in the CAPA program through dance and theatre from grades 6-12 and played many sports, including Rugby, Volleyball, and Softball.
Kayla started her career in Account management with a local insurance company and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Upper Iowa University in 2023.
Growing up in the inner-city, Kayla always had a passion for helping those around her and, most importantly, advocating for a positive impact in the community of Rockford. After giving her life to Christ in 2018, that passion transformed into a calling from the Lord to share His Love and light with those around her.
Kayla is a devoted mother who loves to spend as much time as possible with her family and raise her two boys, Xiyan and Xendel. Her favorite hobbies include:
