My Story
Sierra was born and raised in Rockford, IL, just seven minutes away from RHK. She has been working in youth-based nonprofits since 2016 through Camp Ministry. In 2021, she interned at Ridgecrest Conference Center in NC on the support staff team and graduated with an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education from RVC.
Although she grew up in a Christ-based home, Sierra hit a low point in her later teens and needed to rebuild that foundational relationship with Jesus. She rededicated her life to His work in 2019 and has been striving every day to grow closer to God.
Sierra married her husband, Tyler, in 2023. They currently live in Roscoe with their cat, Mochi. In her free time, Sierra enjoys cooking. She enjoys trying out new recipes and learning about different cultural cuisines. Sewing is another passion as she creates one-of-a-kind garments for competitions. She thanks God for giving her the opportunities to be creative.
