Rebekah Barczuk

Rebekah was born in Chicago and raised in Rockford with some time spent overseas in Poland with her mission-based family. She graduated from Hononegah Community High School, then continued her schooling at Lincoln Christian University with a Major in Intercultural Studies. After a couple of years in Lincoln, IL, she went on to study the Polish language and culture at the University of Warsaw where she discovered a passion for inner-city youth. 

 

Upon returning to the states she spent time working as a preschool teacher along with specializing in treating at-risk youth living in court-ordered residential facilities. She felt a pull to bring light and guidance to the next generation.

 

After taking a year off to work with Joann Fabrics, Rebekah felt called to do something greater with the gifts God has given her. She feels God led her to Rock House Kids in His perfect timing. She is so excited to help guide others in that same light she previously loved to share with children who desperately need it.
